My Qigong Journey
I was an independent filmmaker starting on one of my largest projects and feeling on top of the world. Newly married and excited for the future, my dreams were suddenly shattered when my husband was diagnosed with an acute form of Leukemia.
In searching for ways to help him with pain management, I invited a TCM doctor to the hospital. He taught me a few simple Qigong techniques to break up the pain field around my husband.
To my amazement, we were able to eliminate morphine and codeine using Qigong healing techniques.
In the end, time wasn’t on our side in our search for a bone marrow donor to save my husband’s life, yet I had witnessed how Qigong dramatically reduced his pain and improved the quality of his remaining time with us.
After his passing, I immersed myself in the study of this ancient Chinese healing art so that others in my life would benefit from this knowledge. After nearly three decades of learning and teaching these time-tested practices, I feel there is nothing more important or valuable to human health and happiness than empowering others with the gift of Qigong.
I hope you’ll join me on this journey!
